Ankawa

Our aim as a charity is to support teachers, university lecturers, staff and students engaged in learning in the town of Ankawa, Northern Iraq. We provide a bridge between the professional expertise of the UK teaching body and those working in our partner schools.

​

We are a subsidiary of a larger charity which works to garner support for the community of Ankawa from the UK: the Ankawa Foundation.

​

Our current main focus is supporting Mar Qardakh School, an experimental IB School. You can find further details about our involvement below, as well as links to our other projects.
